Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between BookAmore and the artists who use it. Creating an account means agreeing to them. If you are a client booking with a studio, your agreement is with that studio — their own terms and policies are on their booking site.

What BookAmore is

Software for running a tattoo or permanent-makeup business: a booking website for your studio, an app for managing requests, appointments, clients, messages and payments, and the plumbing that connects them. BookAmore is the tool, not the business — the services you sell, the prices you set and the work you do are yours.

Your account

Keep the information on your account true, and keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One account runs one business.

Your content and your clients

What you upload stays yours. You give BookAmore permission to store and display it, because that is what hosting your site and running your app means, and nothing more. In return: only publish work you have the right to publish, collect from clients only what you need, use their contact details to run your business with them — not for spam — and message people only where you have their consent to be messaged.

You are responsible for meeting the rules of your trade: licensing, health requirements, age limits, consent and record-keeping obligations, and your taxes. BookAmore gives you tools — signed disclaimers, payment records — but using them correctly is your responsibility.

Payments

Payments run through Stripe, under Stripe's own agreements, into a Stripe account that belongs to you. BookAmore never holds your money or your clients' card numbers. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks are between you, your client and Stripe. Any BookAmore platform fees are shown to you before they apply.

Acceptable use

No unlawful use, no content you have no right to, no attempts to break or probe the system, no using the messaging tools for anything other than talking to your own clients. Accounts doing these things can be suspended or closed.

Leaving

You can close your account at any time from inside the app, which deletes it as described at bookamore.com/account-deletion. BookAmore can suspend or end accounts that break these terms, and will say why.

The honest disclaimers

BookAmore is provided as it is, without warranties. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not promise it will never be down, lose a message, or have a bug — run your business so that a software problem is an inconvenience, not a catastrophe. To the extent the law allows, BookAmore's total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential damages.

Changes, law and contact

If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it and artists are told in the app; continuing to use BookAmore after that means accepting the change. These terms are governed by the laws of Missouri, United States. Questions go to the support address listed on the app's store page.
